By using DoggoTranslator ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

What the app does

The app sends photos you choose to upload to an AI vision model and returns a playful, fictional inner monologue along with a body-language analysis. Optionally, it can also synthesize the translation as audio via a third-party text-to-speech provider. The output is for entertainment and casual reference only.

Not professional advice

The app is not a substitute for veterinary care, training advice from a certified professional, or guidance from a canine behaviorist. If your dog appears injured, ill, dangerously stressed, or aggressive, contact a qualified professional. Do not rely on the app's output to make medical or safety decisions.

Acceptable use

• Upload photos that you own or have permission to use.
• Don't upload images of people in private settings, illegal content, or anything you wouldn't want a third-party AI provider processing.
• Don't try to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Rate limits exist for a reason.
• Don't pass off AI-generated translations as documented behavioral analysis or use them in legal, medical, or insurance contexts.

Intellectual property

The translations the app generates are produced by an AI model. Treat them as fun creative output, not professional work product. The app's code, design, and prompts are owned by their respective authors.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Breed identifications, mood readings, and translations are best-effort guesses by an AI model and will sometimes be wrong. The service may be unavailable at times due to upstream provider issues (Anthropic, OpenAI, Railway) outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
